We are a specialist listing advisor to companies wishing to list on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with a specific focus on opportunities involving broad based Black Empowerment groups.
We also actively engage with underperforming companies already listed with a view to restructuring and revitalizing the company performance for the benefit of all shareholders.

Fund Managers

As Fund Managers under Cortex, we specialize in the management of funds on behalf of private as well as institutional investors who wish to invest in new listings or corporate restructuring as well as offshore investments and listings.
Traditionally, these investors are arms length to the participants in new listings, and as such, are often unable to acquire meaningful investments.
Our philosophy is to build relationships with our investors, and to reward their support for our fund via the allocation of meaningful equity participation.
The availability of access to our own funds will reduce our dependence on financial institutions and allow us greater flexibility in the structuring process.
In addition we will create a gateway for American investments into Africa, and at the same time a gateway for SA investors to invest in the USA and other offshore opportunities.

Current Activities

Currently the Group is busy with restructuring itself and preparing Eagle Capital for its listing on the JSE in South Africa. The main Investment Strategy will be an ETF approach.
The Group is also restructuring itself in Atlanta, USA and announcements will be made to that effect.
