Introduction

The Eagle Capital Group was formed in 2007 by its associated partners with a specific focus on listing companies on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and reviving those underperforming companies already listed via the injection of new assets.

Group Structure

The South African Group, with its controlling Shareholder Atlanta Eagle Investments based in Atlanta USA, currently consists of::

• Eagle Capital Limited – Private Investment Company
• Eagle Corporate Finance (Pty) Ltd – Restructuring Specialist and Advisor
• Eagle Fund Managers (Pty) Ltd – Investment Manager and Co-ordinator

Mission and Vision

The group was not only put together with the African American relationship in view but for the future development thereof and the common relationships between the USA and Africa.
The main mission of the Eagle Group is to find those investment partners that will want to be associated between Africa and America. For this the strategy is to ensure that Eagle Capital will be listed on the JSE in South Africa and within 5 years from that date we will seek a secondary listing on an International Market.
A key element of our proposed listing strategy is the inclusion of a meaningful Black Economic Empowerment component.
As such we will focus our activities in the main on those listings which provide significant opportunities for broad based black empowerment companies and black investors.
Our intention is to create opportunities for our clients to invest by setting up a unit investment fund specifically focused on our listings.
This will provide our clients the opportunity to participate in these listings and will also ensure our independence from financial institutions.
In addition we will create a gateway for American investments into Africa, and at the same time a gateway for SA investors to invest in the USA and other offshore opportunities.
The Group also has undertaken to invest into South African activities which have a proper defined corporate social and support responsibility policy and has establish numerous links with approved organizations.
